No one on the shop floor to help. Everyone seems to wait behind the counter standing there looking around...bit like the owner clueless
Do not walk there early at 8 o'clock in the evening They did not keep their working hours closed at 7:15 pm
You get what you basically pay for. It's at a good location as it has parking available for customers. However I don't really like the customer service side of it especially when wanting to try trainers or get a member of staff to assist you in bringing out your size. They could do with more staff on the weekends definitely 5 stars because I get basic gym and sports clothes from here and I cont complain for what I pay as the prices are good. :-)
Sports Direct Watford..... employs staff including its junior management from the lower echelons of society.When asked a relatively straight forward request to a member of staff she started to panic and went into flight mode which was to get her manager!The manager, ironic that he worked in a store selling sports and fitness clothing and accessories came waddling along and like a robot read off the companies policy on returns, refunds and exchanges. When told that one of his staff had in fact told me otherwise he didn t directly but insinuating I was incorrect and hence was doubting my integrity. At this point normally calm, collected and a pillar of society started to seethe because called a lair is not something that happens very much and particularly not by some resembling a large hairy sea lion! I do not recommend sports direct Watford but do recommend the company as a whole and find their website very easy to use!Michael Ashley, I suggest you take a look at this store as it definitely needs an improvement with staff actually have some customer services and effective communication training!
I visited sports direct 13th June 2018 in Watford at around 4.30pm just looking around, while I was upstairs I could hear a lot of commotion and a raised voice from one of the members of staff who was in deep conversation with someone. I did not get his name, but he was wearing a blue sports direct top. Ive never seen anything like it the staff member was irate and going off on one and using very unpleasant language. I thought Ive heard enough and I decided to come downstairs and leave the store. As I walked downstairs the staff member was still very excitable and animated and then started saying bull**** to the amusement of three of his colleagues downstairs near the front door. As I left I said to a young lady I hope hes not the manager to which she replied, hes not. So, I asked her if she thought it was acceptable for this staff member to use that kind of language on the shop floor to which she advised me he is having family problems to which I said, there are young children present in the shop I dont think its funny. I did ask who the manager was then she said, hes not onsite and when I asked for the managers name she said, she is the manager. Unprofessional and a very unpleasant nature avoid this place.
