Great staff! Great food and drink choices and vast numbers of board games! Reasonable prices and enough options for vegetarians and vegans! Definitely a place to spend a whole evening and weekend afternoon! Parking is limited though ...
A really great board game cafe. My wife and I visited to kill some time on my birthday last year. In our brief visit you could immediately tell that there is a community feeling, the service was great and welcoming. You pay to play by the hour at reasonable rates and there are loads of games to choose from. All of the food we ordered was of a decent quality. I would highly recommend board game fans to head down.
Lots of choice of games. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable about the games they have. There is a good choice of food that is reasonably priced. Would recommend booking as it can get quite busy.
Incredible collection of games you can check online, a varied vegan free menu you can also check online, loads of events throughout the year, more than weekly (which you can check online....) and super friendly staff who are always happy to help in any way possible, even in trying to explain rules to some obscure games they might be familiar with. Food is tasty and at fair prices. Annual membership available and I go every week at least one evening. Couldn't recommend it enough.If you're going during an event or at the weekend book, or you won't get a table.
A cosy, welcoming place, with friendly and helpful staff! There are some really nice touches to this place, like a women's charity donation box, various toiletries in the bathrooms, score cards and pens on request ( d20 team - it would be good if this was signposted!) and the option to buy brand new versions of the board games you've played. The atmosphere is lovely - family friendly, but not loud or cramped, and still chilled enough for a adult couple; there's also a quiet space available. The menu has good vegetarian options and the portions were generous, drinks were lovely (can recommend the coffee slushy!)
