Some interesting objects of Watford memorabilia but the place is looking rather tired. As a Watford resident it brought back memories, but for anyone that wasn't it would be difficult to piece together the story an changed over time. It is free so I suppose I shouldn't expect too much.

This place is fabulous. I always make time between working to go and have a little look round at the displays and in the gallery at the art displays. Fantastic informative staff

A small, but highly informative, museum that shows quite a lot of Watford's history. Housed in the old Benskins Brewery building, the museum is set across two floors. Artefacts include the history of the Football Club, its printing history, archaeology, how it copied during the war years, its brewing history and Cassiobury House. Plus, there are art exhibitions and exhibitions from varying groups from the local area.

Fascinating and eclectic. If you want to know anything about Watford's past this is the place to be. They also rent out rooms for events. The team here are lovely and I really enjoyed my visit! I will be back.

Visited the fire museum section which is across the road behind the fire station. This was on an open day so there were a range of both vintage and modern fire engines on display. Inside the museum building there were displays of equipment, uniforms and photos of incidents attended by the brigade. Well worth a visit.
