Since the council spent good money doing up this park, its a real joy to visit. Walk around the new water fountain, cafe area, new paths with low level lighting. The bandstand has had a lovely lick of paint and there is a 5k park run here every Saturday morning. Get fit, bring your dog/kid/husband/girlfriend/ whatever, and get some fresh air in you!!
Limited parking but a nice big park in a metropolitan area. Has a childrens railway with pseudo-steam train, a big play area, a splash park and a cafe. Nice place to give kids a run around
Absolutely the best part for families, children and dogs. There are also two restaurants in the park for simple meals, ice cream and soft drinks and one of them is dog friendly too.
Voted one of the best parks in the UK and with good reason. Great walks and full of families, central to the town that is pride of Watford and invested in by the council. Very popular all year round.
Christmas 2018 park run. Dedicated runners turned up for a 5k run. Awesome park. Tranquil and clean. There is an outdoor gym too. Very friendly people around giving the family feel atmosphere. One of the wonders in Watford and in UK. Park runs are on every sat 9am and on Christmas day and on new year's day too. All welcome. Run by volunteers. Awesome
