Typical NHS hospital, a very large sprawling hospital, incredibly busy with people coming going it would seem all day long.Usual NHS staff, fantastic with both my appointments on time.The only downside it would seem is everybody's complaint and that is car park. It's like parking on waste land, no markings, pot holes and incredibly expensive. Maybe someone one day will say we can do better!!!!!.
Carpark has pot holes everywhere and no parking lines in the road for parking. Expensive and always very busy
Good luck finding it. To get to the general parking at Watford General Hospital, put Thomas Sawyer Road into maps to reach the general parking. It might save you an hour of your life. But best of luck actually finding a space between the monster truck Jags and Mercs & impossibly narrow turns everywhere else. Clearly designed by someone who owns a smart car. A 4 lane motor way style entrance which could have been used to double the parking instead. Barriers everywhere presumably to make your visit even more inconvenient. Would leave -* if I could.
Terrible. If it isn't bad enough that your at a hospital in the first place this car park will make you ill. Extortionate pricing, on a really steep hill & full of potholes
This car park could be far better designed. It's a great place to get dents in the side of your car. The majority of the car park is on a steep slope, so chances of somebodies car door swinging open because they don't have a firm grip on it are high. Why they couldn't have leveled each parking area to create leveled banks. Most of the time it's near capacity so good luck. On the plus side they at least have paybyphone for the times you don't have 20 (1wk of parking) in loose change.
