Nice little pub with lively atmosphere. Great portion sizes and affordable prices. Always requires a booking, even on Wednesday evenings!! One downside was that the vegetable stir fry had too large chunks of veg which can be smaller and bite-sized.
How have I not reviewed this place yet? Doesnt need one really. Its basically the best Thai if you are in Watford. Thats all.
Service was super fast. It's one of the few places that I've actually noticed this naturally, without having to think about it. Food was very good, large portions, staff very nice. Definitely coming back
Been coming here infrequently for a number of years now and it's always very good. Whether you view it as a pub with a great Thai restaurant on the side, or a Thai restaurant with a great pub on the side, you'll be happy! Only knocked a star off as our lunchtime meal was missing the usual complimentary prawn crackers and chopped peanuts on our Pad Thai. Not sure if some changes since our last visit (a good year previous) or just an unlucky stock shortage so soon after New Year (visited 3rd jan)
The Best Thai in Hertfordshire!You will need to reserve a table if you want to dine here, so call up in advance as it gets very busy. Once booked, you will have your table for an hour and a half only, but your meal is never rushed.Alcohol and soft drinks are served but not by the restaurant. The food and drinks are separate from each other and you will have to pay a drinks bill and a food bill separately.Now for the most important bit! The Food.................Well, its excellent and I have dined here many times and am yet to find fault with anything on the menu. Starters and Mains are out of this world and Deserts are basic, but you don't go out for food just for desert.Authentic dishes, flavorsome food and as spicy or fragrant as you like it.
