This school is amazing with the most caring teachers you will ever meet. Nothing is too much trouble and there is always someone there to help support your child and your family
This school is a nightmare. Let's start that child is not only bullied by pupils but sometimes by staff as well. Money from the budget is spend for activities like late night performances (Rock Challenge and different shows - which maybe promote school but do nothing good for education). Very often children return home with bruises and scratches and teachers don't know how and when it happened (sometimes parent will be lied the kids were checked after accidents and there was no injuries). Music lessons most of the time are cancelled, After school clubs and SATS preparation are just jokes and if child manage to bring some papers from it it's full of mistakes ( supposed to be checked by teachers). So happy I won't have to bring my children there anymore.
Awful, awful, awful. I would give a minus rating if I could.Staff pretend they care in front the parents but their words are hollow - nothing ever changes. Too much time is spent on non-curricular activities, as mentioned by Atlantis, then children are worked like dogs when it comes to SATS to make up for it.The behaviour of the majority of children is appalling, yet the badly behaved get all the attention and the nurture room whilst the well-behaved just have to suck it up.If your child is bullied, which they inevitably will be, MOVE THEM TO ANOTHER SCHOOL. The bullying policy isnt worth the paper its written on - any complaints receive lip service rather than resolution.Your child will likely come home crying almost every day, as evidenced by Kevin & Pashols reviews. If you care at all for your child(ren)s education & well-being, STEER CLEAR!
Not happy with the school at allMy kid comes home crying or upset at least twice a week and every time I ask teachers why they say my child is lying. .Because Im friends with few familys that live near to the school and also forced to take there kids to the same school , we talk about all aspects of this school and never hear anything positive. .Also find out that it's not normal school for everyone but a special behavior school for low level of studying children ..And what's with the nature room and rainbow room.....They take kids off there lessons and asking them how they feel at home and what toys there parents buy them and how often parents go to work .Basically privet investigation through children
Worst experience ever My child is not even 5 year old he was in reception. Throughout the year he got bullied and physically assaulted by one particular child. We requested to the school to change our child class but they didnt changed then we requested to change that particular child they did not changed now our child was so terrified to go to school. He wasnt happy in school care. Everyday he cried and kept saying he dont want to go to school. He should be happy in the school. After whole year of argument with school we had no choice but to change his school. Would not recommend to anyone.
