Food disappointing. Chips cold but to their credit they did refund me the full price of the meal. Nice pub and good range of beers. Nicely decked out. A big improvement on The Flag. Good staff.
Good Pub, under the new management looks cozy and friendly!
Great pub, particularly on matchdays where Watford and away fans mix in a friendly atmosphere. Usually well-staffed so you're not kept hanging around. Tend to have the football on a number of screens on a Saturday before a band plays in the evening.
A good social atmosphere. Good for TV sports and parties. Offers plenty of room for smoking in front of the bar and ample seating areas. Wide choice of beers and wines but no cocktails
A good town centre pub where you can enjoy a peaceful pint and watch the world going by, or watch sport on the big screens. A good selection of ales, a loyalty card scheme, and plenty of free seats during the day. Not much atmosphere, though.
