The fact that even if you go in the evening when all the shops are shut you still have to pay to park is a complete joke. Just go the Garston one, its 5 mins away, and free parking, plus the vue cinema is much cheaper
Staff were rude, gave us a free game to make up for double booking, who knew we had an hours time limit to play a game of bowling with the kids. Won't be using the free game nor going back. Hollywood bowl has an arcade, bar, pool tables, cooked food, parties. Looks nice, very busy.
Took family there agree with some of the comments, staff where disorganised I think further training is required by a lot of the team. Customers service skills especially. Sam the duty manager sorted our problems for us and he was very professional so nice to my kids. Thank you Sam.I will return I just think it's new start up problems. Has potential to be a great place.
Disorganised, double booked our lane, bar staff didn't know how to use their system, really slow service on check in, the only pleasant thing was the fact that it was new and the shoes were not covered in scum...family food deal was good value though. Try All Star Lanes for a proper bowling experience
In short for families going out to bowl and cinema go Garston for space and ease Small compared to Gartson down the road but convenient if you want to do go shopping before/after. Not alot of arcades so gets very busy with just a few people. Booking bit clunky we turned up 2:25 to a 2:30 booking and had to return to the desk in 5 mins...it was a 10 min que so basically go to the back of the que again? When we finished the game the other family complaining it was 3:00 and we were on our last 2 goes? Place is a hangout for 13-16 year old so unfortunately will bother some people as they are there just to mess around.
