After having an operation and needing to see a nurse for dressing to be changed unexpectedly the surgery were amazing. Got me in and I saw Jan. Lovely lady very helpful and gave me more appointments for the next week as hospital did not mention dressings may need to be changed daily for now. My mum has moved to this surgery too and cannot praise the doctors and majority of reception staff for being helpful and friendly. Keep up the good work Garston medical centre. A big thanks doesn't get said often enough.

Great service. The ability to see a Dr urgently any weekday is fantastic! Have always been able to get their help when needed for urgent problems.

Absolutely appalling surgery! Heres my feedback on the Doctors for future patients to consider. All I can say is the Doctors are discontinuing peoples meds like crazy. No-one is safe. Are they on a bonus scheme? I wonder? Generally very rude Doctors, they dont listen and talk over you. There is one in particular Dr A , dont go to them! They are vicious and has no empathy.Im not mentioning any other Drs as they are fine. Can never get an appointment, have given up. The receptionists are pure poison I feel sorry for the elderly who suffer at this surgerys hands. Also it is pointless texting appointments for clinic appointments- real people have jobs and family and cannot just turn up willy nilly at the drop of a hat. Report them !

They are good helped me with my problem but the appointment scheduling makes it a pain to go

ABSOLUTE INCOMPETENCE/LAZINESSI have been a patient for 35yrs at garston medical centre, I do not use the doctors unless it is of great urgency, I have recently been asked to present hair strand tests assisted by medical professionals.on asking the practice to assist me in taking a simple "blood test and hair sample" in accordance with a court order,i received a letter, late in the day, the day before my booked appointment. saying "none of the doctors here feel able to complete the tests"The Doctors here have let me down when i absolutely needed them to perform the Simplest procedures. I have no alternative but to register at another practice who were very willing to perform the procedure. don't waste your time with this surgery they are too busy to give even the longest serving patients the time of day.Lazy, Incompetent, Unwilling, and a total waste of time when needed most. The doctors here are either too old and unwilling to enter new areas,or young and scared to make decisions.both everyday expectations from a competent GP.ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
