Can be a bit hit and missBunch of us go one a month. Was allocated bays with hawk eye which tracks your ball. Made the game more fun. Wanted the same bays but told no as only for pro'sWhy dont all the bays have this facility ?We checked the bays and no one on it yet still not allowed. Wont rush back if im honest.
Watford hasn't got many good places to take visiting guests but top golf is a good start. Games vary in price but if you go earlier in the day the prices are very reasonable. Aim to play on the top balcony for a better view and range but ground level works too. It's easy to play, but takes skill to be good. I'd never held a golf club before but managed to hit the golf balls into a few holes and score point but more than that we had a laugh. Great for small groups as you can chat between goes. Not ideal in the winter or if raining, you are under shelter but if the wind is in the wrong direction you'll know about it and you are ultimately outside.
If you want to have a laugh, few drinks, food, music and play golf, I would recommend this place. They even show live sport so you can watch it while you play. During the colder days make sure you are wrapped up. It does get a bit cold. They do have an overhead heater but it is tiny
Top golf is amazing !..you pay around 7 for a game and the vibe is quite nice.. there is a bar and restaurant to catch some drinks and food.. the golf clubs are provided so don't need to bring your own!.. the only annoying thing about the place is you can pre book so you have to go there and wait for your number..on Friday and Saturday night, expect to wait 2-3 hours for your turn !
Great laugh to play with your friends and family! Good for people like me that have never played golf! Food and drinks are really good but quite pricey! If you sign up to a 20 membership you get 4 free games which is good. Games are also reasonable for only 6. Definitely would do again!!
