Avoid this company. Go straight to mainstream rental places. This company seems to have no vehicles and just subcontracts to third parties. Go direct to them yourself.At the end of Nov 2018 I hired a vehicle for towing a caravan.The towing need was confirmed in the booking.Van turned up the day before and the caravan dealer contacted me to ask how I intended to tow with a van that doesn't have a tow bar.I contacted nationwidehireuk and was told they would try and sort it out before the rental time. I heard nothing back from them. Cost me a fortune for a last minute hire because these people let me down.This company is incompetent and will let you down unless you have a very ordinary need. Just go to the people with the vehicles that they sub contract to and don't take the risk
SHOCKING!!! We had a Luton van booked for a house move and they let us down with 2hrs notice. Only offered a smaller van which wouldn't have worked. They didn't give a toss. AWFUL! AVOID AT ALL COSTS A reputable from would have arranged for equal or better cover. A reputable form would have done what it took to honour their agreement. It wasn't even cheap in the first place. Sixt we're very helpful and far better value. Use a reputable firm, not these sharks. It seems they have no fleet, just take bookings and see what they can find on the day. Like Ryanair but a lot worse. Fills me with rage to think of them!
Oh my my my. DO NOT USE. DO NOT USE. This company misled me to believe they had a van. I booked. 15 mins later, I realised they havent got inventory. They charged me. I called and said refund. Miserable human on the phone berated me for wasting their time and refused to refund for ages, then gave in and slammed the phone down. There is going to be repercussions as I am going to take action of false and misleading content to the public. Oh and, Thrifty, was 78 cheaper for the same and amazing people there. I highly recommend avoiding

Rude. Unprofessional. Unreliable. Used Nationwide for a 1 day van hire which was due to arrive at 8.30am in the morning. It didn't arrive. Called them twice. Then received a text to say the van would be delivered at 12.30pm. When I called to cancel it the ''lady'' said I would be charged a cancellation fee. I pointed out I wouldn't have to cancel if it had arrived when it was booked for. She then shouted something and hung up on me. Strange behaviour.
