After struggling to find a wedding ring I wanted and that would fit my engagement ring, I was feeling so down. Went in to Thompkins and I am so happy I did. Got a hand made white gold band with a curve to fit my engagement ring. It is exactly what I wanted. You can't even notice the curve. Great staff, so helpful, fab price. We will defo be going back to have my other halves ring made. Highly recommend them.
I cannot write enough amazing things about Tompkins Jellewers - there isnt enough space here! The staff -have been wonderful throughout our experience of buying wedding rings, especially Sam. We have found them to be so helpful with not only their experienced knowledge but also their friendly manner which has made us feel so at ease. They were not pushy in their sale, but guided us through to make sure the rings they sell were right for us. Sam helped design a bespoke ring to fit around my engagement ring, which I am absolutely thrilled with. While they had the engagement ring (to design the bespoke wedding ring), they went over and above by returning it polished and tightened a clasp, just as part of their service.The price for the rings was also very reasonable - we know we got a lot for what we paid, and are very impressed.To the staff at Tompkins: you have made a huge and potentially stressful part of planning a wedding totally pain free and easy, and we couldnt have asked for more. We thank you, most sincerely, and will be highly recommending you to everyone! We now cant wait to wear the rings once our big day comes.
I wish I'd come here first when I was choosing something for my daughter's birthday as the range is small but they have some lovely jewellery. The repair service is very good, too. I had a new stone put in my favourite necklace for just a few pounds. Nice to have a local shop where nothing is too much trouble, even the little inexpensive jobs. Thank you.
